Cooking has always been my love language. It’s how I care for people, bring them together, and create moments that feel warm, alive, and shared.

I come from a Mexican family of taqueros, where food was never just about eating. It was about gathering, conversation, laughter, and the simple joy of being around a table together.

Apt 22 is a project of love born from that spirit.

The idea is simple: create a space where people who may have never met before can sit down, share a meal, exchange ideas, and experience the kind of conversation that only happens when good food and open minds meet.

The hope is that people leave not only well fed, but a little more connected than when they arrived. Because sometimes the best things in life begin around a table.
